'Tis the season again...

Of sample/private sales.

I'm overwhelmed with mails and invitations. Sandro, Vanessa Bruno, Diabless, Printemps, Comptoir des Cotonniers....

Unlike a few years ago when it was all new to me, I'm bored.

Sales overkill ?

A bit but really I have to admit I hate to stand in (hours long) queue to just get inside.

I hate the agitation and anxiety surrounding such sales.

And while being in situation I still have the ability to reason myself and not buy anything, even after doing said hours long queue, I really don't see the point of it anymore.

Honestly I've made lots of great buys on such occasions.

But I'm just content with what I have right now. I love everything in my closet and I want to wear every single item.

Case in point, that Isabel Marant dress I got last year.
I couldn't wait to wear it again and even though the sun's playing hide and seek today I thought what the hell? Why wait? Tis the season after all!
