Saturday shopping

I'm looking for a slip-dress. Why are the material used so light now? I was at H&M and all the summery dresses I tried were so flimsy.

Wearing:
Zara linen tee
Isabel Marant skirt
Colisée de Sacha gladiator wedges
Bag and bangle bought in Africa

  1. I would try looking online at bare necessities or figleaves. That skirt is fabulous by the way.

  2. I love the skirt.

I don't understand super-thin fabrics either, layering is the last thing I want to do in hot weather.

I have a good slip in Muji, and another from Marks & Spencer, both very lightweight and good for hot days. I think you have both stores in Paris?

  3. I know and I hate it too! I bought a slip at zara that was long enough for my needs. I actually think that most of the slips available are way too short.
Anyways, you look great as always!

  5. Thanks for the compliments!

Prêt à Porter P: Thanks for the tips. I looked on French sites to no avail, so maybe I'll have some luck there.

Lin: You revived a deep wound...
M&S, to my great despair, closed all its shops in France several years ago now. That was my go-to shop for basic and quality lingerie (and the food too. Those sandwiches, miam!). Have to plan a London trip soon!!
In the meantime, I'll check Muji!

Emmy: 2 of the slips I own also come from Zara. But on shorter hems, they pick out.

q9y8: Always a pleasure to have fellow tfsers checking out my blog and taking the time to leave kind words. Thanks a lot!
