Tenue du jour - It's all about the shoes





So I wore my brand new red boots today! As soon as I saw those at the Galeries Lafayette salon yesterday, I knew I'd keep them. I would never have bought red boots so they were a good surprise!
As my outfits are a bit dark at the moment, I thought the boots were a welcome addition and change for me. I don't know about you, but 98% of my Fall Winter shoes are either black or brown!

    definitely love the red pop. i like this outfit on the whole though. i can't believe you won TEN pairs of shoes! amazing.
    i may also be on the lookout for something tweed thanks to your recent looks. your coat looks so cooozy.

    Just stumbled across your blog via Penny, la's blog. I love this look, the red adds the perfect touch of color. I too don't usually buy bright colored shoes, but sometimes red just does the trick.

    Thanks Emmy! I think those red boots will be my go to accessory when in need to break the monotony in my outfits.
