H&M lightweight cashmere scarf: Previously mentioned. I'm a sucker for scarves... Sue me, I'm French! That's registered in our way of dressing DNA! Haha!
Gap camo ankle skinny: Already hinted about these. They're a welcome change from my usual blue/black jeans. I wore them twice already and they prove to be quite versatile and easy to combine.
APC sweatshirt (second-hand): This was in "the one(s) that got away" category. I've wanted it for such a long time but due to my slow time reaction, missed it when released. The retro/sporty/preppy vibe and the grey/bordeaux coloring make it the ideal laidback companion.
Isabel Marant Etoile waffle knit (second-hand): also in "the one(s) that got away" category as it sold out incredibly fast. It's the classic spring beige knit, not much else to say except that I love the simple design and texture.
Zara leopard printed blouse : I've had a lingering desire for a leopard blouse to wear during spring/summer in my mind for a while now. This version fits my bill: decent material quality (viscose), accurate print, loose cut, not too deep a décolleté.
Isabel Marant black embroided blouse (second-hand): completely unplanned purchased. That's a total weakness on my behalf: it was cold but sunny and I spotted it in my favorite consingment store, tried it on, loved it, started having delusions of summer outfits around the blouse, checked the price tag and gone were any reasonable resolutions.
Voilà for march purchases.
There are several reports/surveys indicating that clothing sales are down because of the impact of the (bad) weather.
I must say I fall in the category, postponing big fashion purchases (footwear and outerwear) because :
a) it was snowing this morning...
b) therefore, it's still too cold for a trench or ballet flats,
c) And I want to be able to wear what I buy at once or at least in a foreseeable future.
Buying in the season for the season helped me reduce mistakes but it sometimes lead me to miss some amazing items (as above mentioned) which left me kicking myself !
Are you like that influenced by the climate when it comes to shopping and delay purchases? Or are you able to buy without consideration of instant wearability?
