I just love how candid your blog is! It feels like a real style diary and I think the blogging world has lost that feeling in the past few years. Also, referring to your personal post a while back, good luck with everything!
RépondreSupprimerI appreciate your positive feedback Samantha! Thanks!
SupprimerThanks, I was so pleased to find some original outerwear for the mid season, good change from all the black and grey!
RépondreSupprimerThat Maje sweater in your second May look is gorgeous! Same with those Dries sandals ... are they flats? They look so versatile - I can see why they're making their way into so many of your outfits!
RépondreSupprimerThanks Alison! I tend to wear items I love to death! Haha! Surprisingly the sweater's been holding up pretty well considering it's about 3 years old. The sandals are flatform (you can see them on my Pinterest here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/490188740669970538/), no regrets on either of these items.
SupprimerMay Pic 3, white COS blouse looks great for hot summers.
RépondreSupprimerThanks Kristina! A white top is always great for summer right?! COS can be quite good for tops, using mostly natural materials and roomy cuts.
Supprimerlovely outfits! i noticed you got the APC Amy sandals (tan with a gum sole) and am wondering how they are breaking in- i've been contemplating getting a pair since they were released but they fit me a bit funny at the ankle, i couldn't tell if it would break in to fit better... any thoughts you have on them would be incredibly appreciated!!!
RépondreSupprimerI have nothing but love for these APC sandals! They're really fantastic, super comfy from the start: I walk a lot - no breaking in adaptation time- and my feet are quite sensitive to thick hard leather. The ankle strap is ok for me, fits not as close to my ankle as say the Classic APC wedges but it doesn't look or feel off. Best summer footwear investment as I wear them all the time.
Supprimerthank you for your reply! i went ahead and finally committed and got them! i had tried them on at the beginning of the season but couldn't make up my mind at full price... found a pair in my size at 40% off and went for it with confidence now that i have your input- i also walk a lot and breaking in is sometimes painful! the strap was also less tight on me but that might be nice as i tend to swell a bit when it's hot. thanks again for your help and lovely blog!!! i wish there were more shoes with this low comfy wedge with such a simple asthetic ;-)
SupprimerWhat a lucky sales find! I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do! ;))
SupprimerGot the same issue as you with feet swelling when it's hot and with the current heatwave these sandals have been saving me especially for workwear ! Agree that we need more no-nonsense shoes because that's why I often end up giving way too much money to brands like APC and co...
thank you! i agree that someone should produce a more affordable practical, simple, yet non-old lady shoe. have you seen the gum sole flats from beatrice valenzuela? i think you might like them! i have a pair in avocado green that i love!
RépondreSupprimerDo you mean the olive slip-ons? They're lovely! Definitely my kind of style too!!
