Rain pt. 2

A quick what I wore on Saturday post.

At first, when looking through my windows and seeing the grey clouds and rain dropping hard, my instinct was to put on something colorful to fight off the gloomy atmosphere but my mood and mind were not into it and I decided to go instead for a mostly black total-look. I instantly felt more like myself in this dark, functional and cosy outfit.

Tried on a very cute sweatshirt at Uniqlo that I resisted the urge to buy (thanks mostly to the very long queue at the checkout and because I had bought another Acne scarf earlier so... I was trying to be mindful of my budget). I didn't think to take pics of these items but I really liked the slightly oversized, boxy cut.  I can see them becoming staples of my week-end outfits when it warms up a bit.

Hope you're having a great Sunday!

  1. Thanks Prêt! Can't believe a few weeks ago I madly put the sweater on sale. At the time I really needed the cash but I'm so so glad no one wanted it in the end, because I love it more than ever! Phew! ;))

  2. The marling? marled? texture of the sweater is what I like the most. is it 3/4 sleeve?

    1. I never know the right word in English for that kind of "mixed" knit. I saw it being referred as "marled" on a few online stores but my Eng-Fr dictionnary doesn't know this word... Lol.
Yes, it has shorter 3/4 sleeves and very useful front pockets!

  3. What a great rainy day outfit! I am wondering if you would consider posting a review of your Celine Trio, as I am considering a purchase and would love an informed opinion. Many Thanks!

    1. Thanks Hydra! I will write up a little review on the Trio but in the meantime I can already tell you *spoiler alert* that it's a great bag and I'm really happy with it! ;))
