Bonjour tristesse

This week, I came back to work full of energy after a long week-end of celebrations, maybe still a little drunk with the pleasure of the holidays, reflecting on the unexpected little things that happened in 2014, bustling with projects and ideas for the new year. I even wrote 2 drafts and was ready to get back to blogging. I had a few pictures I wanted to share on Insta.

Then Wednesday came and I was stunned, shocked. Thursday and Friday brought even more grief and scare.

During these 3 days, I looked at my insta feed (I might be a bit addicted!) but I just didn't feel like expressing my emotions with a hashtag. I wanted to be with my fellows, the ones who frustrate me on a daily basis, the ones with whom I complain of almost everything not working well in this country.

I want to be with them to ward off the terror and hate, hoping that in front of the danger we'll stand united to honor peacefully and fight for all the innocents who all over the world have been murdered, are held hostage and suffer in their flesh because of the criminal psychopaths using religion to prey and kill.

So I will get back to blogging on clothes and fashion but maybe not as soon as I intended to.

In the meantime, I wish you all a happy, healthy new year. Be safe and take care.

  1. Take your time. But know that most of us who follow you do so to hear what you think about things, period, not only clothes. Sending you love and light.

    1. 3 weeks after and it feels like a lifetime passed... It's a bit weird. The impact is still there but life goes on I guess.

  3. I can't imagine what it was like during those few days, and having such big questions and issues to confront as a society now. I can only wish you well!

    1. I sincerely hope that this "wake-up" call will challenge us to face the issues at hand in the most positive manners, repression cannot be the only answer.
